What is the max speed processor that I can plug on it?
On the manual I find that it can support 2000+ it's right?

I've got an Intel D865PERLL coming from Newegg and I'm going to refuse
the shipment. I happened to swerve in to some forums where guys were
having trouble with possible overheating and very confusing fan
control and temp monitoring. Forget it.

i bought an athlon xp 2100+ processor (axda2100dut3c).
i think it's the one with thoroughbred?!
i try to get it working in my expox 8k7a+, which works with athlon
thunderbird 1200 at this moment.

This week I installed new OEM Turtle Beach Santa Cruz to replace
bright sounding on board NForce2 audio.  New TB sound is rich.
However, are there any remedies for stuttering audio output?  Stutter
occurs whenever CPU activity pulses (such as opening an application).

I have this board in my new system, but I can't find much about the
revision 2.2 on the net. It does have vdimm scaling options in the
(standard) BIOS, and is capable of  200 Mhz FSB (according to the manual
and 200 Mhz is a BIOS option).

I'm wondering if it's true that epox motherboards and geforce
graphiccards isn't a god combination? I've heard that, and I've done
som searching on the net, including this group, and I'm unsure... :/

I get this warning message each time I start my system up. WARNING: CPU has
been changed or overclock fail. Please re-enter CPU settings in the CMOS.
Latest BIOS 10/07/03 installed. Anyone have any thoughts on this ?

Just wanted to say that this 865pe motherboard is very nice.
Great bios with excellent overclocking options. The onboard Highpoint raid
controller is one of the fastest out there and its bios post is very brief.
I especially like the listing of voltages and temps when the board ...

Does anybody know if the EP-8KRA2+ can bet set up with a  RAID useing  SATA
hard drives.
It also has been said that it will support RAID 1.5 if so how many hard
drives does this need and can they be SATA

I am planning to acquire the abovementioned motherboard in the near future.
I have a Barton 2500XP CPU. The question in hand is cooler compatibility
with the motherboard. I have the following coolers in mind:

I have an Epox 8K3A+ motherboard in a PC which I suspect has been the
victim of a power surge. The PC would not power on at all, so I
started by replacing the power supply. Now when I switch the PC on,
the green power LED on the front of the PC case is blinking green and

i have an epox 8k7a+ with existing win xp on it.
now i want to use the highpoint 370 on board device,
so i uograded to latest bios (may2002) and also upgraded highpoint
bios to version 2.34.

I am hoping that someone will share/upload this bios file because I have had
this SATA
boot problem for 2 months now and I can't use my HD's on the HPT controller
and boot from the SATA disk.

Is it me or Epox forgot to put a jumper setting for changing
AGP voltage in this mobo ?
