Recently my hard drive is constantly busy. I've got XP Home in it. It
wasn't like this until recently. I'm sure it's the os doing it. MS
recently downloaded and installed a bunch of their hotfix's and I think
maybe it has something to do with it. Any ideas?

Ok, I made the leap.  But every once in-a-while I get the BSOD.  Which I
didn't get under the XP 1500.  I've set the board to 'auto.'  Newer bios
update 3/4/2002.  Should I raise the CPU voltage .1 or something?

I have my bootdisk as master at IDE-1 and a second HD at the
RAID-controller.
For whatever reason those disks become wrong sorted, eg WinXP identifies
the disc at the RAID as HDD-0 and the drive at the IDE-controller as

Anyone experienced the same problem? I have just bought a 8RDA+ with a 2500+
Barton, did a fresh install of WinXP pro, service pack, nForce drivers.. and
then tried to install Pinnacle's PCTV software. The driver installation
completes with a problem, "device cannot start" or ...

I have a used EP-68LXR mobo, slot 1, LX, AT mobo.  Unusual AT Slot 1 mobo.
I can't find it listed on the EPOX website.  Any ideas?

I have a 8rda+ and a problem that need immediate resolve. The damn thing
wont boot up with my western digital 40gb. It gets to the part where the win
xp screen should start up, but then it starts up "nvidia boot agent"..which
states "media check failed....."

What device is associated with agartd.vxd. It's in the sys.ini or
registry and when i boot I'm told this file is missing and that i
should either remove the device, or reinstall it? This, subsequent to
installing a Sapphire radeon 9500 and fiddling around....

I am building a new system with the Epox 8RGA+, AMD XP 2500+ w/Barton
Core, 512 MB 3200 DDR ram (2 - 256MB sticks which will give me the
dual channel feature) . I also have a two year old 64MB ASUS GeForce 3
that I have loved since it's install.

I had 2 Apacer 256Mb UNB PC2100 CL2's running on my mainboard.... One seems
defective now.... I would like to buy 512MB of memory now, in addition to
the 256Mb that are still working fine...
My questions:

I have an 8RDA+ Mobo with an athlon 2600+ CPU.
I want to get the new 3200+ cpu, but for this to work, I need to up the FSB
to 400Mhz.
How do I do that?

Trying to install new Maxtor 30G ATA 133 hard drive on a EP-MVP4A   with a
K6-3 450 chip.

Only a quick question regarding the supposed 'keyboard power on' feature of
the above 8kta3 pro board.
I've enabled the correct JP2 jumper to the 2-3 position, but still can't get
the system to wake from a soft power off using the keyboard.
