I've a Q-tech PC with an ECS P4M800 M7 v1.0.
It's had plenty of virus problems and has no working USB ports and other
random issues.
Downloaded all drivers but they all fail to install however I try to force

I just ordered a SATA-300 drive and now I need to get a
motherboard/cpu that will use it.
Cost is important so the sky is NOT the limit. But I want at least
an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ processor.

Hi, I'm trying to test a motherboard simply on power up, can anyone
tell me if i'm going about it the right way?
I connect up the ATX PSU to the mb socket, (have connected the CPU +
fan and 1 SDRAM stick), and momentarily short the PWR SW terminals

Have successfully built my first machine with KN1SLI. Would like to

i'm trying to install the driver for the onboard LAN controller on a
K7S5A V3.1 running windows 2000 sp3. after checking the ECS site, i
downloaded their driver 1.16 for SIS 900 PCI ethernet controller.
the onboard LAN function in BIOS features is enabled and the device
