Anyone know how to replace the noisy northbridge cooling fan on the
nforce4 chipset of ECS Nforce4-a939? I just bought a zalman ZM-NB47J
heatsink, only to find out that there are no holes around the chipset.

I use motherboards.org to identify a motherboard as being made by ECS, with
a model number of SI56P AVIO.
(the mobo string ID is 62-0913-001131-00101111-071595-Sis7305-M810LR-H)
This board has two DIMM slots, and i'm trying to find out what the maximum

I have a new build I'm doing and I can't get the KN1 SLI Extreme mobo t
power on.  I've tried using a 400 watt and 420 watt power supplies wit
24 pin connectors onto the board.  The NIC lights light up but I can'
get the fans to spin or anything else to do anthing.  I don't have an

I just noticed that my L7S7A2 gives the following voltage readings
(from Speedfan, bios readings are similar):
+3.3V: 1.34V
+5V: 2.45V

We're upgrading 25 computers at our office which had the K7S5A's di
because of the infamous "bad caps" problem.  I've purchase
the ECS N2U400's, most of which run fine, but four of them simply wil
NOT do anything.  New RAM, PS, CPU, video card--makes no difference.

when plays games on my computer randomly the graphics will get al
blockly and pixelated playing almost any game, if you push dow
lightly on  the corner of the video card then it fixs the problem fo

I've recently acquired one of these boards.  I put together a system
and installed Windows XP.  I have good ventilation in the case.
Speedfan is reporting Temp 1 and Temp 3 as 127 C.  I've been running
this system for a few days without any problems. I've Googled this

I just installed my NFORCE3-A w/Sempron 3100+ in an ANTEC LanBoy case with
an ANTEC TrueBlue 480W PS.  I have 1 GB of PC4000 RAM, 2 optical drives and
3 hard drives.  I have a Thermaltake Silence HSF to keep things cool.

I replaced a ram stick on my mobo (L7S7A2) and the computer wouldn't
boot. I put back my old stick, cleared the CMOS and it would boot, but
when I pressed the power switch to turn it off so I can close the case
it would close and start again, so after trying 3-4 times I pulled the
K7S5A mb and ATX 2 psu11 Feb 2006 12:11 GMT10
Bought a Npire ISO-500 450W PSU recently but it doesn't seem to work
with my ECS K7S5A motherboard. Drives power up, CPU fan comes on, but
PC won't boot and no beeps from m/b.  I brought it back to the store
where it worked well on another m/b with the separate 12v connector
