K7VTA3 with USB2 PCI Card. ext. 300 GB Harddrive don't work at my PCI Card for USB2 With USB1 connected the HD works fine.

I have four k7s5a pro motherboards with a variety of Athlons. In the "cpu pnp setup" page in the BIOS there are various cpu and memory settings including 166/133 for the cpu and memory respectively. Does the 166Mhz cpu setting work with faster Althons (Barton, Semprons)?

I recently bought an AMD Sempron 3000+ (Socket A, Barton core, 512K L2 cache) with PC Chips M825g mobo and noticed that this mobo's BIOS doesn't have a setting for enabling any CPU overheat protection shutdown.

Just built a K7VTA3 Rev6. PC 2700 Mem. Althon XP ... I am at home and this box is at the office...so I can not recall exact processor ... 266 bus. The problem is heat related ... it works fine with the case open.
