| Help! K7S5A and Sempron 2600+ | 22 May 2005 22:32 GMT | 4 |
I’ve got a K7S5A rev 1.x (XP compatible) which I recently had to upgrade the CPU on in a hurry. The first CPU I could get hold of was a Sempron 2600+ which I’ve installed and it actually works fine. My question is, since the BIOS shows the CPU on POST as being an Athlon

| K7S7AG will not POST if RAM set faster than FSB | 12 May 2005 04:41 GMT | 1 |
Hi, my board failed to POST recently until i reset the BIOS. Afterward i found that my system would not POST if FSB:RAM ratio was not 1:1. I should be running with XP2000 at 266 with FSB 133 and DDR 333 but can only run with DDR at 133 ??? Any advice? Thanks.
