Hi can anyone tell me what kind of PC133 memory the K7S5A Pro takes? I
have one a friend gave me that needs memory. Does this chipset want
low density or high density PC133 DIMMs? Anyone know?
I want to put some 512MB PC133 DIMMs in this board but don't know what

Does anyone know of a link with information about which video cards
are compatibility with ECS motherboards?

I did - finally.  Got the speed up to snuff
Now I have gone to ECS website, DL'd
the BIOS flash that pertains to upgrading

Someone knows how to set IRQ with this board.
It seems to be impossible, to have the build-in/on-Board LAN-adapter
AND to assign IRQ to the graphic-adapter.
In some situation it is essential to have NIC and grafic-card a

Has anyone had difficulty loading Suse 9.2 with this board. I have three
 computers, one has an Asus mobo and the other two are k7s5a. Suse 9.1
loaded just fine on all the machines. 9.2 loads on the Asus machine but
neither of the other two. Any suggestions?

      I have a K7S5A  motherboard, and I have put it in a new tower.
         The probleme is ..... no power on.
    I intalled new power supply but ...no effect.
    I checked jumpers setting, It seem look ok.

I just built a Windows 2000 system around a K7S5A Pro (Version 5) using the
e030811s.rom (BIOS). Every so often almost immediately upon boot up I get a
"boot device failure" error. I then hit ctrl-alt-del and it (usually) goes

Is that normal that I can hear noises and  music is distorted. I used  
drivers from original installation CD and  drivers from SIS's website.

   I sold a year ago a system using ECS-K7S5A.  He is now wishing to
upgrade.  His present ram is PC-133, as best I remember--definitely not DDR.
What's a good upgrade (brand AND model)  mobo for him, as his ECS just began
losing time and cmos?
