A friend has a K7S5A pro motherboard that hangs during a boot after
displaying "Checking NVRAM" on the monitor.  The memory test that
normally follows this did not display anything.
I have a K7S5A and took out my memory to see if I would get the same

I put a new power supply in my system.  In doing so I accidentally disconnected
the case power LED wire from the motherboard.  I can't figure out exactly where
it should be plugged in.  Can someone give me some directions?

My K7S5A stopped working suddenly. I had not opened the case, so it
was not damaged by static.
The symptoms are that the Power light comes on, but the processor and
memory are cold as ice - apparently no power getting to them at all.

well i bought a USB 2 card from ebay it works fine and installs but it
doesn't allow my card reader to work @ USB 2 speeds, and now i have wasted
money getting that when all along it must be bios settings or drivers and
not hardware !!!

card. The system does not start at all. Windows may start but nothing on the

what is the range for this 800FSB  P4 3.0 gig chip with a copper fan running
@ 2200 RPM??  right now it is 50 C , my old P4 2.4 gig 533 FSB ran at 28 C
