I'm interested in buying an ECS K7S5A-Pro motherboard, and would like
feedback from you all regarding this board.  Also, I have some specific
questions:
1)  I was wondering if any of you who have or had this board happened to run

considering using the 2400+ in my K7S5A v3.1 and putting my Duron 1.3G in

Hi,
I bought a 160GB Western Digital HD during Christmas. The intend of
the HD is to put mostly media files. To cut a long story short, i
notice that the mp3's would jump around within a song. One time it

Has anyone come up with a solution to the "repeatable file corruption"
problem found on some ECS K7S5A motherboards (SiS 735) besides cutting

email/applications only system for my wife, I relented.  The board was
purchased about 9 months ago, assembled, and has been working
flawlessly.  Recently (last several weeks) She has been reporting

Several weeks ago I built this PC with this MB and XP2600.
Everything works and runs as designed and expected. I have had

I am having trouble booting my new system, I installed pc3200 memory. I
would imagine this should work on the board. Or do I need to stick with

Yes, it happened again on my K7S5a rev 3.1 MB.
It happens just after checking the drives (all were recognized properly).
What I noticed this time was that the cpu speed was noted correctly on that
first screen (when it was first recognized) but by the time it finished
