K7s5a: PC150, 98SE and Radeon 9500 Pro?27 Feb 2004 03:28 GMT3
Does anyone have any ideas if this combo will work? I'm thinking of putting two
sticks of PC150 of differing sizes (512 and 256 Corsair) and manufacturers,
would this also cause problems? The CPU would be a Duron-Morgan 1300.

k7s5a won't boot27 Feb 2004 03:24 GMT7
Was working fine 2 days ago, now it won't boot.  It powers up, but I get no
beep.  Then it flashes the HDD, DVD and CD lights alternately.
No video signal.  I swapped video cards with a known working one, still
nothing.

Problem with K7S5A and Voodoo3 200024 Feb 2004 23:06 GMT1
The computer in question has a K7S5A board with a Voodoo3 2000 AGP card.

K7VTA3:   floppy drive led stays on and drive doesn't work24 Feb 2004 05:18 GMT8
I recently rebuilt a budget system using a ECS K7VTA3 v8.0, Athlon XP 2500+,
512MB PC2700 memory.   (The MB, processor, and memory combined only cost
$129 at Frys - I thought that was a great deal.)   In general the MB
replacement went smoothly and Win XP Pro installed fine.   The ...
Is there difference:K7VTA3 v8.0 and v5.0?24 Feb 2004 03:42 GMT3
I just looked at ECS site and could not see differences between the 5.0
and 8.0 versions except that I think one of the mobos had 3 ram slots and
the other only 2.  I think it was the 8.0 that only had 2 ram slots.
Are there substantial differences?  Is either one suitable ...
