I currently have V8.3.0.1011 installed. I see Intel has a newer

leave well enough alone. ASUS update site only shows V. 8.3.0.1011

P5Q Pro - Safe to connect SATA (1-6) to eSATA connector on case?30 Dec 2008 22:05 GMT1
Looking to install Ubuntu 8.10 onto an external drive using eSATA
offered by the Silicon Image ports set to normal mode.  However, all

might not be the best choice.  That is, although I can "see" the drive

I just noted that the stated output of my 901's charger is 12v
DC.
Unencumbered by any knowledge of electrical stuff, it sounds to
me like the 901 can be charged just by a direct connection to a

I've been having trouble with an Asus p4c800-e. Ran Memtest86 v3.2,

exception and halts almost immediately. I'm figuring that this may be

Persistant hardware problem with P4C800-E28 Dec 2008 17:22 GMT1
Well, I presume it's hardware. The system was running fine for a

it, and am now running on just one stick (1 GB).  Memtest86 says it's
OK.  I've Seagate's Seatools on the boot drive several times. No

Re-formatted my Linux 901 and used nLite to install Windows XP

Seems to have worked: boot time 25 seconds compared to 27 with
