I ran several passes of memtest86 and the ram 'seems' to be ok. However the computer crashes in XP and sometimes reboots. I have an old ASUS A8S-X Motherboard and have installed 1gb of ram [it already had 1gb of ram so this makes 2gb of ram, they are identical

I've just built a new system with an Asus board, and I want to try q- fan, but want to be sure that it's safe. I'm using the stock AMD cooler at the moment, so I don't know what the fan specs are. If the voltage goes below the startup voltage will the fan just stop? Or can

Got 2 problems, have the P5KR Mobo, just installed windowsXp, enabled the Realtek HD Audio in the Bios, but tried to install the driver and it progresses so far and then I get an error message Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure.

I try to install a 750GB Samsung SATA HD into my p4g8x. At boot sequence the raid bios says I can enter the bios by F4 or Ctrl+s but nothing happens. The HD is displayed on screen but nothing happens. Bios Version is 1005. What can I do?

I'm thinking that I will upgrade to a quad core system some time later this year. (see my other message about this). But I'm aware that it's early in the market for quad-core, and I'll admit that I haven't been following the developments in detail.

If I'm using a sata dvd rw drive and am installing a windows operating system using the sata drive, will the installation recognize the drive, or will I need to boot up with dos and load the sata drivers before the OS installation? Thanks
