I'm trying to modify the Serial Number in the System - BIOS section of the DMI. But when I try to modify the serial number, it just comes back saying "DMI function not support;" "Updating DMI have some problem." It'd be just nice to get rid of the "To Be filled by

I have an XP 2400+ cpu (266bus) on an A7n8x board with 1gig of PC2700 memory. Last year I thought about upgrading the cpu but after gathering some info I didnt really think I'd notice the difference enough to make it worth the bother.

| Fry's sale sounds too good to believe | 02 May 2007 05:47 GMT | 9 |
Fry's is advertising a combo E6700 processor and an Asus P5N-E SLI board for $450. On their site, they list the 6700 at $515 and the board for $150 so I have to wonder why they would sell a $665 package for $450. Seems too good to be true.

A few questions here - not sure if they're related or not. I haven't seen it lately, but sometimes when the person goes into Microsoft Digital Image or Adobe Photoshop Elements, the window even when maximized will jolt around a little and sometimes you'll start to see graphical ...

I have an Asus A7V400-MX mobo with an AMD Sempron 2800+ processor and 512MB of Ram. When I open up Windows and go My Computer Properties, the AMD processor is listed as 1.99 GHz, which is correct, but the RAM is listed as 480 MB, not 512 MB. I have two other computers with Asus

| Short freezes in WinXP using JMicron eSATA on P5W-DH Deluxe | 01 May 2007 23:13 GMT | 2 |
I am using an Asus P5W-DH Deluxe Motherboard and have an external eSATA-harddisk connected via the JMicron eSATA-Port found on the motherboard. All is working well except for one tiny annoyance: every time I turn on the external harddisk while WinXP is running (hot-plugging) ...

| A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 update | 01 May 2007 20:37 GMT | 4 |
I don't have a floppy, but want to upgrade the Bios Rev. 1007 of my Mobo A7N8X Deluxe 2.0. Is there another way? I think it makes no sense to buy a floppy only to use it once. I want to use a XP processor, and I have right now only a Duron 1200. Thanx in advance.
