Ok, so I enabled the Thing in the BIOS, A8S-X board. Is something else needed????? Just the bios?? The asus site is not organized well, need some pointers.

Just thought I'd share my experience with you. Been using a A8N SLI Premium motherboard without incident for a while now. Recently upgraded to Vista Ultimate. I stupidly updated the Bios on my motherboard from 1009 to the latest beta 1302. I know, stupid.

I just bought 2 sticks of 512mb memory from BestBuy and have a question....(1) stick has chips on both sides the other has chips only on one side. Does it matter? My other 2 sticks (kingston) have chips on both sides and I don't want the single sides one to cause problems.

i've got an A8N-SLI deluxe with 2* 512 mb (if i'm right in slot A1 and B1). When i want to expand it, is it possible to put only one module of 1gb to it in one of the remaining empty slots? Or does it have to be 2 modules (like again 2* 512mb or 2*1024mb?)

The asus p5n-e sli has been reviewed by anandtech but i can't find any other info on this mobo. Is it so bad that nobody wants it or is it not available? comments please! What do YOU think of this mobo? TIA !!
