Just thought I'd share my experience with you.
Been using a A8N SLI Premium motherboard without incident for a while
now. Recently upgraded to Vista Ultimate. I stupidly updated the Bios
on my motherboard from 1009 to the latest beta 1302. I know, stupid.

P5B latest Bios 1202 question.
I am still using bios 0806, but wonder if this latest bios will better
accommodate my corsair 1066 (pc8500) ram better.

 I just bought 2 sticks of 512mb memory from BestBuy and have a
question....(1) stick has chips on both sides the other has chips only
on one side.  Does it matter?  My other 2 sticks (kingston) have chips
on both sides and I don't want the single sides one to cause problems.

I just received my returned M2NPV-VM from ASUS...I was getting one long
two short beeps (video error) when attempting to boot....so I installed
the motherboard when I received it and....same problem...ASUS tech
support had told me to try booting without memory and to try to reset ...

I need the CD to enable drivers, etc. on a new HDD with a clean OS install.

Hi, I write you to resolve a problem. Having installed Vista how operating
system, I don't succeed to have the drivers for the card audio incorporated
in the motherboard anymore. I have succeeded in recovering the drivers of Xp
but the effect 5.1 as gone out audio I don't succeed ...

Anyone know can a bad motherboard battery cause a system clock to start
running fast?   Lately my A7N8X deluxe board is picking up quite a bit of
time.  I've reset the bios to defaults a few times and just took the battery
out and put it back again but am wondering if the battery ...

 I scanned my HD and it turned up a few bad sectors, which were "repaired"
with the Seagate Diagnostic program Seatools.
I verified the OS files with the System File Checker and now I want to
uninstall and reinstall all the drivers for mobo, video, sound...

i've got an A8N-SLI deluxe with 2* 512 mb (if i'm right in slot A1 and B1).
When i want to expand it, is it possible to put only one module of 1gb to it
in one of the remaining empty slots? Or does it have to be 2 modules (like
again 2* 512mb or 2*1024mb?)

The asus p5n-e sli has been reviewed by anandtech but i can't find any other
info on this mobo. Is it so bad that nobody wants it or is it not available?
