My p4p800 vm has 4 memory slots which I have populated with 4 512 MB sticks. I need to upgrade the memory because of ArcGIS software, but don't have the money to go to 4 gb right now.

Just thinking ahead to next motherboard upgrade, and want some more memory that will work on this board for now...will it boot? will it just work at the lower speed? Is it a different form factor then DDR? Thanks for advice!

I read on a forum that you are not able to use both PCIe and the PCI-X with an AMD Athlon chip on this K8N-LR. Does the CPU make a difference on how many PCI slots you can use or is it the chip set on the motherboard?

I have a Pentium 4 775dual-VSTA system I built at christmas. I'm seeing a problem where sometime it refuses to boot. It does not run the BIOS , nor do I see the nvidia details. I've had this occur with either an FX5200 (AGP) or an FX 7600 (PCI-E)

I have a scsi hard drive, two 160 gig sata drives, scsi card, Matrox Parhelia 256 AGP8X, 4 gigs memory, a dvd burner and a dvd rom, 6 fans, 3.2 gig Northwood with stock cooler, a pci usb card, a pci firewire card, PC-800 board, etc... Thanks

Can't get audio to work on Vista Ultimate 32. Analog Devices site is useless and Asus hasn't posted anything new to download. Would XP SP2 driver work? or is there an AD1888 driver for Vista? Thanks

That board use the Nvidea Nforce2 chipset and there is no Vista version available that I am aware of. Nvidea most likely will never issue a set of Vista drivers for that old chipset.

Hi newsgroup, I use an A8NSLI. If I shutdown my PC, the cooler of the power supply takes a long time (over 3 minutes) until it switch off. What can I do? Thanks a lot for help.

Been trying everything to get this to work, but all I get is BSOD crashes with DDR2 fitted. This motherboard also takes DDR memory, and with that fitted it works fine. So, the DDR2 slots could be faulty, but I'm not sure if there's anything in
