I'm sitting here with a copy of Vista Ultimate in my hot little hands, more
apprehensive than usual when upgrading operating systems.
The patient is an XP-Pro machine with a dual Sata Raid-0 configuration and
dual 7800 GTX video cards.   What is most intimidating is that the Vista ...

Save and restore BIOS settings?30 Dec 2006 19:13 GMT8

I am basically looking at the Asus P5W DH Delux motherboards, and I
can't figure out whether it offers such a tool or  not.  Since I have
many identical systems to build, I would like to spend time tuning one
Error Loading OS with A8N-SLI30 Dec 2006 18:35 GMT3
I swapped out my other nf4 board, a BFGrnf4u (destined for another
machine), and put in an A8N-SLI. On boot, the hard drive is recognized in
BIOS OK, but I get "Error Loading OS". Everything was OK with the BFG.

CrashFree BIOS 230 Dec 2006 18:33 GMT1
does this product really allow you to restore a crashed BIOS from a
floppy or CD?  I am very unlucky when it comes to flashing BIOS chips
and if  CrashFree  doesn't really does do what it claims, I will get
something like BIOS Savior to cover my butt so to speak.
