I was wondering if you guys thought it be smart if i took of the onboard fan, becase it is soooo loud, and replaced it either with a heat sink or a heat sink with a fan (if i have enough room). Will it hurt the chipset??

I have 2 256MB PC3200 DDR (184 pins) RAM modules that won't work on both of the P4 motherboards I have. These are brand new Infineon memory modules and both of them doesn't work, even when I put only one of them on my motherboards, doesn't matter in which slot I plug them.
