I have an Asus p4p800 running XP and Asus probe.
Asus probe constantly crashes with a divide by zero error.  While I
don't understand why Asus can't check for Divide by 0 in Asus probe,
I'd also like to know why this is happening.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but can I connect 2 x SATA drives
to the Via SATA connectors and use them as independent disks, eg as c:

Trying without success to install W2K on 3 Primary partitions on a SATA
drive connected to the Promise Raid controller which is set to IDE.  No
other drives apart from a DVD drive connected to IDE 1.
I can install W2K to the first Primary partition installing the Promise

Yesterday the second chipset fan was dying on an A8N-SLI board :-(
Anybody experienced the same problems? Now we think of replacing the
fan with big heat sink without fan. Will that be enough, or should we
but another fan on it...?

I just purchased and tried to install a new (CoolerMaster) case for my
A7N8X-E.  The case comes with a new form factor ATX 24-pin power supply
which separates into 20-pin and 4-pin connectors.

Can anyone diredt me to the network drivers for this board?  thanks in

I have a Dell OptiPlex GX280 system that was damaged in the Katrina
flood.  It only took a few inches of water but sat in it for about 2
weeks.  The case, MB and video are shot.  Everything else RAM, CPU and
drives was above water.

I've just bought a A8N-SLI Deluxe, and I've made a first and good test on
the RAID controler : I succeeded in creating a 4 HDs RAID5 bunch &
installing XP on it. It boots, it works ! But that was just a first
trial...

hi,  does qfan control both CPU fan speed and case fan speed?
My idle CPU is at 40 degrees when the CPU fan is on full blast. When I
turn qfan hte fans go slow and the idle CPU temp reaches 50 degrees.
I know this is hot, but that's not the issue I want to discuss here.
