Micron or Samsung Memory OK?31 Aug 2005 16:19 GMT5
I looking at getting 2 sticks of 1G memory for an A8N-SLI. Generally
speaking, are Micron/Samsung modules considered cheap, or of inferior
quality? I know that there are more expensive, highly regarded modules,
but I was wondering if there was any reason to avoid these two

I am so desparate - I'll try anything.

Here is a problem that solved itself.  I thought I would share it with
the group because it is a "good news story," as a contrast to all the
tales of woe that fill these groups.
I was building up a new system using an ASUS board.  Antec power

Chipset fan replacement A8N-SLI30 Aug 2005 11:14 GMT4
I replaced my stock chipset fan (crapped out) with a Vantec Iceberg
(copper) today. I hope it is reliable because the fan did not come with
a yellow connector wire (just red and black), hence AsusProbe cannot
monitor rpms.
