One is a "left" cable, and the other one is a "right" cable.
If this is a side view of the motherboard, a left and
right fit like this. The connectors are designed, so they
won't bump into each other, and yet keep a lower
profile than a straight connector.

Cables with a 90 degree connector on the end, are also
handy sometimes, for the hard drive that fits in a tray.
This one is a right-right (90 degree connectors on both ends).

To post a picture, you'd need a picture hosting site. There are a
few different ones.
The ones at the bottom of this page, aren't all the same type, but
the entries will give you some idea. Imageshack is one of the
sites good for a quick picture. Once the picture is uploaded, you
post a link to the picture in your next USENET posting.

Even with a 90 degree connector on the SATA cable, there still might
not be room for a cable, but that style of cable is another option.
