Aren't there any more recent drivers available for the 8800 series and
Windows XP ? The last ones on the site are version 97.92 of January 10.

There are betas. For one-stop shopping:

You may need to search for the full international versions, if you're
looking for other than US English.

Return address scrambled. Replace nkbob with bobkn to reply.

There is a new 100 series driver for XP (100.95 I think), but from
what I've read, it doesn't really offer anything worthwhile. So far,
97.92 works best for me in terms of FPS (fs9 and FSX) as well as image
quality.

There's supposed to be a STALKER optimized driver out this week, don't
know if it'll be worthwhile or not.

Check out the guru3d forums and read what other people are saying with
regard to new drivers. Some really suck, and you can save yourself
some time and trouble....
