I have Windows XP- when I try to play a DVD a get a message telling me I need
to copy PowerDVD.sim to my PowerDVD folder. What exactly does that mean? I
have found places where I can get the PowerDVD.sim, but not really sure I
know what I am doing- and I am concerned about the integrity of something
obtained like that. Would it be better to download a new PowerDVD all
together? I don't seem to be able to delete it from my system either, with
part of it missing. If I download a new program, which one should I use. Have
you heard of DownloadNova, and are they reputable? I have gotten advice from
you before and I trust you- please help.

Got a better idea - don't use PowerDVD at all.

uh- ok, I have no idea what other programs replace it, and,,, how do I remove
it from my system Perhaps I was unclear. I have only basic knowledge of
computers- that's why I come here.

PowerDVD.Sim is the license file. Are you running the trial version?

Media Player Classic plays DVDs, and it's free and open-source. Interface is
like the old Windows Media Player, but with far more functionality.
