Only Nero Express though, but at 5$ a pop

Or Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 - also 5$ (well, it is 5$software !)
I actually found them, SUGGESTED by a Roxio forum admin, as a place to
get V5.
Is Nero essential? - why reward them for forgetting that basic phrase
"the customer is always right", and forcing a buggy/slow/bloated V6 as
the only route.
If Nero 6 had proved itself, you could see the point, but at the
moment, it's only proved itself to be buggier than 5.5.
I Bought a discounted 5.5 Retail, got the upgrade to V6, and then held
fire until 6.3.0.2 - and compared to V5.5.10.42, it still SUCKS.
New BUGS
More BLOAT
Attempts UPNP POLLING
Navigation SLOWER
Why should I expect any different, the same disease is common in Roxio
releases also, only just about right when they start again - aren't
they capable of building on the strength?
See also, www.deepburner.com - free, though you'd better talk to them
if you want to roll out 100 copies
1.65Mb of pure, unbloated Burner, and despite being beta and lacking a
few exotic features, adequate for most tasks you'd expect to do with
bundled burning software - Not only that, unlike some "specialist"
alternatives, it LOOKS NORMAL.
