Gigabit stacking kit (J4116A)

Hello!
I would like to connect two 2524M with
the J4116A stacking Kit.

But i wonder what the maximum cable length between
the two switches might be?

Is there some limitation?
I need approx. 5 meters cable length.
Is that possible?

Hello,

The stacking kit transceivers are basically Fibre-Channel ports. HP
does not sell the cables, but you should be able to use a standard
fibre-channel cable whose connectors fit the HP transceivers.

Some people have used 5 meter cables with success.

Try before you buy :)
