> What is the fastest cpu that I can upgrade to for the compaq nx7010?:)
I found a manual, a manual which covers more than one model of computer.
It has a list of processors shown, but whether this addresses your
question or not, is open to interpretation.

Processors (include thermal pads)
Intel Pentium M, 2.0-GHz
Intel Pentium M, 1.8-GHz
Intel Pentium M, 1.7-GHz
Intel Pentium M, 1.6-GHz
Intel Pentium M, 1.5-GHz
Intel Pentium M, 1.4-GHz
Intel Pentium M, 1.3-GHz
Intel Celeron M, 1.3-GHz
Intel Celeron M, 1.2-GHz
The list on the Intel site, includes more than one generation of processors.
This is for Pentium M.

You might want to use a program like http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php to
display the processor currently in the computer. Intel also has Processor
identification Utilities that can give some information. That way, you're
more likely to figure out the right generation of processor to use.
Intel Processor Identification Utility

The best identification, is to examine the processor physically, and
get the SLxxx code printed on top. But since this is a laptop,
disassembling the thing is too much work, for the added certainty
of what processor is currently in there.
