The Motorola Surfboard SBV5120 has an analog telephone adapter with 2 RJ11
ports.
Can I reconfigure that adapter for another VoIP service provider?

Nope. it would be only via your isp. your thinking of something alon
the line of vonage. different protocal (sip)
