Hi all,

Firstly, apologies if this post appears in the wrong forum.  The only
other seemed to be unoccupied except for spam posts.

Secondly, sorry that this, my first post here, is a "has anyone got" or
"can anyone direct me" but other alternatives seem non-existent inside
Australia.

Does anyone have an Intel M3AWEB 802.11b wireless module that is surplus
to requirements?  The 3800C I've just acquired seems distinctly lacking
in this department.  I have visually confirmed this.  I know it's
getting a bit long in the tooth but it's hard to turn down a freebie
laptop that still works quite nicely :) .

Any help at all would be appreciated, even a hint as to where I might
inquire beyond this forum.

Goes without saying I'm willing to pay for the item - this isn't a
charitable request.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

Cheers,

Bronte

Hi all,

To those who bothered to read my original post and resisted flaming me
for incorrect forum posting, my appreciation.

To any who might be interested, if an L3800C is delivered *without* the
wireless card installed, that's not all that's missing.  The antenna is
not fitted to the screen surround either, so just sourcing and
installing the card itself is basically of little or no use unless
proximity to the AP is very close.

PCMCIA to the rescue!

Thanks again for letting me off the hook easy.

Regards,

Bronte.
