Pundit and external DVD writer - problem

Hi.

Hmm I dont know why but I have connected external DVD writer (Samsung
SH-S182M) to the front usb connector via Belkin USB 2.0 cable.

At the rear I have external HDD 320Gb also 2.0 cable.

When I record something from internal HDD or external it takes about 40
minutes to burn one DVD (4x choosen) in nero.

The flash light on the front of burner not blinking continously.

The first question would be, did you burn a whole 4.7GB of data in
40 minutes ? Or was the size of the burn, smaller than that ?
