Just put together AV8, Athlon64 3200+, 2x512Mb DDR400, SATA120Gb, Etc....
Problem! Won't do anything. POST code comes up as 9.0. and thats it.
Changed MB, Powersupply No change

I've removed BIOS battery & shorted BIOS reset but still no joy.

Help please? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanx

The BIOS build your board shipped with is not compatible with the .9u AMD
CPU you have purchased, and you need to update it before the system will
POST.

You either need to temporarily switch in an older CPU, start the system and
flash the BIOS (after which you replace your 3200+), or contact Abit for a
new BIOS chip.

Or remove one of the sticks of RAM and it might start up (like mine
did).... managed to flash after that and get everything working.
