HI folks.  I'm waiting for the July 22 price drop for all the intel
stuff at this point.  I was originally going to use an E6600 dual core
but from what I hear the price of the quad core Q6600 will be dropped
significantly so I was going to go with that now.  Is there anything
hardware or software  related I have to consider about going with a
quad core processor?   Will there be any performance problems?  I know
most things aren't written for quad core yet so I didn't know if there
were going to be any type of issues if using that.  Thanks.

Just from what I've read lately, there will not be much benefit, if
any, from going quad core. In my opinion, better to get the dual-core
extreme edition (forgot the exact name), or whatever the fastest,
bestest dual-core processor is now.
